Antigua

Wednesday, July 7th, 2010

Stunning beaches, rainforest covered mountains, warm and friendly people, and amazing live music…These are the descriptions that come to mind when I reflect back on the two weeks I just spent on the island of Antigua.  Blessed with captivating vistas, a rich culture and too many beaches to count (365 to be exact - one for every day of the year!), Antigua is one of the most memorable islands I’ve ever visited in the Caribbean.

Whether you’re searching for the ideal honeymoon or family destination, Antigua has something to offer everyone.  The key is knowing which property to select, which is why I opted to stay at a number of different resorts while on the island.    I found each one to be incredibly unique in feel and atmosphere.

Beach at The Verandah

The Verandah:  Eco-friendly, all-inclusive hotel located on the northeastern part of the island.  It is a great choice for families with a moderate budget who want lots of activities for everyone.  Highlights of this property include a gorgeous beach with calm water perfect for young children, lovely landscaping, an excellent Kids Club facility, and some of the best live music I had the pleasure of hearing while visiting Antigua.  A different band plays every night by the main pool bar, which creates a fun atmosphere for the guests.  My personal favorite was a nine person steel drum band - everyone was dancing that night!

Carlisle Bay:  “Contemporary luxury on the beach” is the description the hotel provides on its website, and I couldn’t agree more.  It is a polished, yet unpretentious hotel well suited for both families and couples, although couples should expect to encounter a number of young families while on property.  I was a huge fan of the Beach Suites, which are spacious, two bedroom accommodations literally steps from the beach.   As a mother of two young children, I found the layout to be ideal!

Other highlights from Carlisle Bay include a lovely beach, incredible food, unusually good fitness and tennis facilities (including nine courts - the most I’ve seen anywhere in the Caribbean), a consistently attentive staff, and a top notch Kids Club facility.  I also loved the nightly children’s buffet, which was complimentary and served poolside every night from 5-6:30PM.  It was wonderful to feed the children early in a casual environment, then hire a sitter to play with them while my husband and I enjoyed a quiet dinner alone.  Heaven!

Curtain Bluff:  I would best describe this legendary, all-inclusive hotel as The Greenbrier meets the Caribbean.  It is charming, elegant and friendly - the quintessential Caribbean resort.  What makes this property so special is the owner and the staff.  Mrs. Hulford and her late husband started the hotel almost 50 years ago, and their vision has resulted in a unique culture among the Antiguans who work there.  Many of them have been employees of Curtain Bluff for decades, and their loyalty and pride is immediately evident upon check-in.

In addition to two breathtaking beaches, I particularly loved the rooms, dining options and the spa.  Built just a few years ago, Curtain Bluff’s spa has a spectacular setting on a bluff overlooking the Caribbean.

The main dining area is so romantic that it reminded me of a set from a movie.  An enormous tamarind tree is the anchor of the courtyard, where a different band plays nightly.  Guests enjoy superb service and gourmet dining in this amazing setting.   Once finished with dinner, many guests opt to dance under the twinkling white lights that flank the pavilion.

Jumby Bay:  Ultra-luxurious hideaway located on a 300 acre private island, which is accessible only by ferry from the mainland of Antigua.  Immediately upon arriving at the dock, guests feel like royalty as they are greeted by a polished staff offering a rum punch in one hand and a cold-scented towel in the other.

This all-inclusive hotel recently underwent a massive renovation, and the results are magnificent.  The rooms are incredibly luxurious, all offering amazing views of the ocean.

A new infinity pool sits on a bluff overlooking the water, and guests taking a dip are just steps away from enjoying a wonderful lunch at the Pool Grille. I particularly enjoyed spending time at The Verandah - Jumby’s newly designed beachfront bar and restaurant.  Other highlights of this Rosewood property include a stunning, long beach great for relaxing or walking, complimentary bicycles for traversing the island, and elegant (yet casual) bars ideal for enjoying your favorite cocktail.

Anguilla and St. Barts: An Ideal Island Combination

Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

It took me all of three seconds to answer my colleague’s question, “Would you like to join me on an educational trip to visit two Virtuoso properties on Anguilla and St. Barts?”  Yes, yes, yes!  I’d visited both islands several years ago, and they remain on my list of  favorite Caribbean destinations.  I therefore  jumped at the opportunity to see them again and gain more knowledge to share with my clients.

img_2427

Our first stop was Anguilla, site of some of the best beaches in the world.  Like most visitors, I flew into St. Martin and hopped on a boat for the beautiful, 30 minute ride over to Anguilla.  The two islands are only a few miles apart, which makes for pretty background scenery if you happen to stay on the side of Anguilla facing St. Martin.  I love looking out over the mountains of St. Martin and its twinkling lights at night - a beautiful site!

img_2374

I was fortunate enough to stay at Cap Juluca, which is my favorite property on the island.  I visited the hotel with my husband in 2003 and have been telling people since then that Cap Juluca is one of the most spectacular places I’ve ever experienced.  To say that its mile long, crescent shaped beach is beautiful is an understatement.  It is truly one of the most gorgeous beaches I’ve seen in my lifetime.  Add the stunning Moorish architecture of the hotel to the soft, white sand and calm, clear water, and guests will find themselves enjoying a true piece of paradise.

img_2359

Cap Juluca recently underwent a $28 million dollar renovation, which has taken the famed hotel to new levels of luxury and notoriety.  The Main House was completely redesigned, and its Moroccan themed interior is perfectly matched with the architecture of the hotel.  Additionally, the rooms were all refreshed with new beds, linens, flat screen tvs and more.

img_2389

Every room at Cap Juluca is oceanfront and located just steps from the beach.  Guests awake to the sounds of the waves crashing, and a few lucky ones like myself might meet the lone green parrot who visits the balconies of his favorite rooms each morning.  Most guests opt to have breakfast delivered to their rooms at a time of their choosing.  My attendant brought fresh pastries, fruit, and coffee or tea each day and set a beautiful table for me on my patio overlooking the beach.

img_2358

Dining at Cap Juluca is a five star experience.  Their restaurants are romantic, innovative, and the food is incredibly good.  I particularly enjoyed Flights, their new wine bar, followed up by a Pan-Asian themed dinner at the new Spice restaurant.   Pimms is another excellent option, and its waterfront tables are filled with starry-eyed couples enjoying a romantic evening and gourmet food.

img_2381

I always recommend that clients rent a car for at least one day while staying on Anguilla.  The island is safe, easy to navigate, and there are several other beaches worth exploring.  Additionally, the restaurant choices are vast.  Anguilla is one of the best islands in the Caribbean for fine dining, so everyone should sample at least a few of them.  I have a personal favorite list of spots I share with clients before they depart.  There is no shortage of options!

img_2391

My next destination was St. Barts, which is part of the French West Indies.  As soon as my plane touched down, I felt as if I’d arrived at a seaside town in France.  The language, cuisine and culture of St. Barts are distinctly French, and the island is a hotbed of upscale boutique hotels, fantastic restaurants, and unique shops.   The island is also incredibly scenic due to it mountainous terrain.  Picturesque beaches are tucked between green mountains dotted with villas and small hotels.  Because of its beauty and high level of sophistication, St. Barts is one of the most unique islands in all of the Caribbean.

img_2400

I stayed at Guanahani, a legendary hotel and resort located just ten minutes from the airport.  Its charming and colorful cottages dot the hillside, which provide memorable views of the water and rocky coast.  Frequented by celebrities and well-heeled travelers, Guanahani offers a wonderful combination of luxurious accommodations, world-renowned dining, and one of the most polished and attentive staff I’ve encountered in the region.

img_2393

My room overlooked a cove on the other side of the hill and was the perfect spot to enjoy a good book and glass of pink French champagne.  When I was ready to venture out of my room, I walked through the hotel’s meticulous grounds down to the beach, where a lively bar and restaurant can be found.  Additionally, there are comfortable lounge chairs and thatched umbrellas for guests to use.  The beach attendants are approachable and attentive, and I enjoyed a few lazy afternoons under their care.

img_2412

Guanahani’s food is so good that I’m not sure I can adequately describe it in this posting.  The breakfast buffet is offered poolside by the beach, and the options are endless.  Decidedly French, guests can order from a menu offering items such as homemade crepes and cafe au lait.  While they wait, they can choose from a vast array of freshly baked pastries, fruit, cheeses, and more offered at the buffet.  Le Bartolomeo is Guanahani’s signature restaurant.  It offers diners a romantic, courtyard setting and fine French cuisine as good as anything served in an upscale restaurant in France.  My meal there was one of the best I remember in many years!

img_2429

The Clarins spa at Guanahani is the nicest spa on St. Barts and a big attraction for guests.  The extensive spa menu pampers guests in a serene setting.  I particularly recommend the Swedish massage, which left me relaxed and ready to explore the island.

img_2401

St. Barts is another island great for renting a car.  There are so many wonderful restaurants and boutiques to explore, as well as a number of quaint beaches.  I recommend packing a picnic lunch and driving to Governour Beach for great swimming, lounging and people watching.

img_2421

For travelers who’d like to experience more than one island during their trip to the Caribbean, Anguilla and St. Barts are one of the best destination combinations available.  The islands are both so scenic and cultured, yet completely different in feel.  Travel between the two is relatively easy as well.  I am already counting the days until I can go back and experience Caribbean beauty and luxury at its finest.

Belize: Central America’s Hidden Gem

Sunday, March 7th, 2010

I recently packed my bags again for the tropics - this time my destination was Belize.  It’s a country I’ve been wanting to visit for many years, so I was thrilled to finalize my plans to travel there with my husband.  The allure of Belize makes perfect sense to me.  Where else can a traveler do so much in such a small country?  Belize offers numerous, colorful coastal towns boasting white sand, pretty water and some of the best snorkeling and diving in the world.  Catch a ride inland and in less than two hours, you’ll find yourself immersed in a tropical jungle providing an endless of array of activities for the more adventurous traveler.

img_2936

In addition to being a short flight from the East Coast, Belize is the only English speaking country in Central America.  These two facts make it a breeze to visit!  I also found the people to be incredibly friendly and helpful.  They are proud of their beautiful nation and eager to share its treasures with visitors.

img_2926

I began my week in bustling Ambergris Caye on the Caribbean coast.   If you want to snorkel or dive, this is the place to be.  Belize boasts the 2nd longest barrier reef in the world (the only one bigger is the Great Barrier Reef in Australia), and it’s unbelievably accessible.  A five minute boat ride from shore puts you at the edge of the reef, and sealife is abundant.  I’ve snorkeled quite a bit in the past but decided I couldn’t visit Belize without trying scuba diving for the first time.  It is the ideal place to learn.  We started out in water only knee-deep and before I knew it, I was swimming alongside spotted eagle rays, tarpon, nurse sharks and too many colorful fish to name.

img_2901

Victoria House offers the most luxurious accommodations on Ambergris Caye, and it’s easy to understand why the resort’s reputation is so wonderful once you’ve stayed there. The rooms, grounds, staff, service and food were fantastic.

img_28621

I was particularly fond of the beach area at the resort, which was dotted with numerous palm trees and was raked regularly.  Visitors should know that Ambergris Caye doesn’t have big stretches of sand, but the water is gorgeous and Victoria House’s beach area was the nicest on the island.

img_2876

After enjoying a few days of fun on the coast, we traveled two hours west for the next part of our trip - a jungle adventure.  Along the way, we stopped at the Belize Zoo, which sits on 29 acres and currently exhibits over 125 animals all native to Belize.  I was fascinated by the exotic creatures living there in such a natural setting, and was particularly fond of “Junior,” the zoo’s most famous jaguar resident.

img_2947

Our choice of accommodations in the jungle was Chaa Creek, arguably the most luxurious and well managed lodge in the country.  It’s part of a 365-acre nature reserve set along the banks of the Macal River in the foothills of the Maya Mountains.  The owners, Mick and Lucy Fleming, have painstakingly built ChaaCreek from the ground up over the past 30 years.  Every aspect of the resort has been carefully thought out and well executed.

img_2964

The room options are varied and full of charm.  There are 23 palm-thatched cottage rooms from which to choose, all of which are beautifully decorated with local furniture and artwork.  I loved the treetop suites, particularly because they offer jacuzzis situated on balconies overlooking the river.

img_2960

In addition to the wonderful accommodations, Chaa Creek ’s food, service and spa exceeded expectations.  The Flemings have recently added an infinity pool, where guests can relax in the sun andwatch the abundant tropical birds which can be found all over the reserve.  I enjoyed breakfast one morning alongside a flock of toucans eating the berries of a palm tree nearby.

img_2966

But one doesn’t come to Chaa Creek just for the rooms and food.  The reserve and surrounding area offers an vast array of activities for visitors of all ages.  A dedicated concierge stays very busy throughout the day as he explains all of the different options to the newly arriving guests and then coordinates their excursions.  Hiking, canoeing, bird-watching, visiting Mayan ruins, cave tubing, horseback riding, and mountain biking are just a few of the endless possibilities.

img_3008

My husband and I chose to visit Xunantunich, a Mayan ruin site, for our first excursion.  It was absolutely fantastic!  There were no crowds, and the structures were truly amazing.  The highlight was a climb to the top of El Castillo, where we were rewarded with lovely views of the countryside from the top of the main temple.

img_2979

On our last day in Belize, I went on the adventure of a lifetime (or at least my lifetime!).  Because I was going to be crawling inside a big, dark cave for several hours, it took a little persuasion for me to agree to visit Actun Tunichil Muknal (more commonly referred to as the “ATM”), one of the  most impressive caves in the Maya region.  But I’m so glad I put my hesitation aside!

img_3010

Our  guide drove us to the edge of a jungle 90 minutes away from Chaa Creek, where we began our one mile hike to the cave.  After crossing three rivers by foot, we arrived at the cave, which honestly looks like something out of an Indiana Jones movie.  All total, we explored the inside of ATM for over three hours, climbing huge rocks, squeezing into tight spaces, and wading through the water.  It was an experience I will never forget.

img_3014

This excursion is not for the faint of heart.  Upon arrival at the cave, you have to swim to get inside.  The water was over my head, and the encroaching darkness was definitely a little intimidating.  Once we got inside and turned on our headlamps, however, I was speechless.  The vast caverns and rock formations were stunningly beautiful.  Even more impressive were the hundreds of Mayan artifacts which literally littered the cave.  ATM was used as a ceremonial site by the Mayans for over 700 years, and most everything left behind remains in its original location.  Vessels of all sizes, fire pits, and the occasional human remains can be found in the cave.  The highlight of the tour is located in a dry chamber deep inside the cave, where the skeleton of a young woman is embedded in the rock.  This famed crystallized maiden, who was sacrificed to the gods,  provides a fascinating glimpse of life during Mayan times.

img_3017

If you like the idea of visiting a tropical paradise with both beaches and jungles, as well as warm and inviting people, then Belize may be your ideal destination.  Another big benefit is the relatively low cost of traveling there, especially when compared to the high season rates currently being charged on most of the other Caribbean islands during the winter.

Mexico’s Hot Spot: The Mexican Riviera

Thursday, March 19th, 2009

I just returned from a fantastic visit to the Riviera Maya. Otherwise known as the Mexican Riviera, this beautiful stretch of Caribbean coastline is conveniently located 45 minutes south of the Cancun airport. The area is a hot bed of upscale, all-inclusive resorts and several luxury, boutique properties popular with honeymooners and families alike.

My first stop was Occidental’s luxury property, Royal Hideaway. It’s the world’s first adults-only, all-inclusive resort to earn the prestigious AAA 5-Diamond Award. The concept of a luxury, all-inclusive property with gourmet food intrigued me, which is the main reason why I selected to stay at the resort.

Upon arrival, my husband and I entered the elegant lobby and were greeted with cool, fresh scented hand towels and bubbling glasses of champagne. After receiving a helpful overview of the resort and its amenities, we were escorted to our oceanview room. I found the rooms to be on the small side but very sophisticated and well-appointed. I recommend requesting a room in one of the buildings closest to the beach, as Royal Hideaway has a stunning, beach-front pool area where we spent most of our time.

Visitors should be aware that the town of Playacar where Royal Hideaway is located has suffered significant beach erosion as a result of hurricanes. At the moment, there is very little beach and many sandbags scattered along the surf. I was informed prior to arrival and therefore wasn’t surprised by the appearance of the beach. The Mexican government is apparently working on a plan to fix the problem long-term, which is good news for Royal Hideaway and its neighbors along that stretch of beach. In the meantime, however, Royal Hideaway’s chic infinity pools (yes, there are two of them!), attentive poolside staff, beachfront restaurant, and lively atmosphere more than made up for the lack of sand.

Royal Hideaway's Lobby

The promise of gourmet food coupled with a large emphasis on service proved to be true. Royal Hideaway delivered superb dining night after night. My personal favorite spots were the signature restaurant, Las Ventanas and Japanese inspired, Azia. Additionally, I thoroughly enjoyed lunch at The Deck, a casual bar and grill located right on the ocean.

Royal Hideaway's grounds

Royal Hideaway's grounds

Royal Hideaway’s attention to detail and emphasis on customer service was apparent throughout our stay. I was especially impressed by the personal concierge assigned to each building on property. Ricardo greeted us by name each day, wanting to know what he could do to be of assistance. The staff at the pool was eager to bring us drinks whenever we wanted, our room was always cleaned in a timely manner, and the waiters at all of the restaurants were knowledgable and friendly. Additionally, the grounds were quite beautiful and well-maintained. So if you’re looking for an all-inclusive property that truly delivers on luxury, Royal Hideaway is the ideal choice for you!

My next stop: Rosewood Mayakoba, which is spectacular in every way. For travelers who’ve experienced Rosewood’s other Caribbean properties (Caneel Bay, Little Dix Bay, Jumby Bay), you will not be disappointed! I would describe Rosewood Mayakoba as a “wow” property - one of those spots you can’t stop talking about when you return home. Everything exceeded my expectations: the architecture, service, rooms, grounds, dining, and pool/beach services were among the best I’ve experienced anywhere.

Rooms along the lagoon at Rosewood Mayakoba

Rosewood Mayakoba is situated along a mile-long stretch of beautiful beach, but it’s honestly not the beach that makes the resort so special. I found the 20 acres of clear lagoons bordered by mangrove jungle to be unique, serene and beautiful. The resort’s architecture is a contemporary-Mexican style, specially designed to blend in with the natural coastal environment. My husband and I opted to stay in the lead-in Lagoon Suite category, and we were more than surprised by its size, luxuriousness and views of the lagoon and surrounding mangroves. The ride to our suite via an elegant private boat was just the beginning. Upon arrival , we quickly discovered that our large suite featured a vast lagoon-side terrace with inviting plunge pool, rooftop sundeck and a bathroom not to be forgotten. In addition to a lovely, outdoor garden shower, it came fully equipped with an enormous circular tub which was transformed into a fantasy of bubbles and flower petals each evening by our personal butler.

Golf carts driven by plentiful staff members circle the property on a regular basis, so guests have no trouble finding a ride to their desired destination when they need one. However, the grounds were so pretty that my husband and I often opted to travel by foot. It was a pleasant walk or ride to the beach area, complete with a “hopping” beach bar/restaurant, infinity pool and fully equipped children’s facility. Back towards the main lobby was an equally appealing atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the serenity of the pool, which is overlooked by the main dining area. Additionally, Azul is not to be missed. It’s a chic raw bar and “tequila library” which serves excellent ceviche and cocktails, as well as a vast selection of Mexican tequilas.

For spa lovers, Sense, a Rosewood Spa, is sure to please. The 17,000 square foot facility is blissfully located on a separate “island” within the hotel’s grounds. Guests enjoy a wide array of complimentary amenities when they book a spa treatment, including access to a heated pool, juice bar, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, cold plunge pool and relaxation areas. A fully equipped gym is also available for all guests to utilize, should they be able to drag themselves away from their suite or the beach to burn a few calories.

From rooms to service to dining to scenery, Rosewood Mayakoba is a step above the rest. Equally unique is the fact that the resort is a great choice not only for couples seeking a romantic getaway, but also for families. Families of all shapes and size will find themselves very much at home due to the spacious accommodations, attentive staff and impressive children’s programs.

For guests fortunate enough to experience it, Rosewood Mayakoba will call you back again and again. I am already counting down until my next visit….

Round Hill: Elegance and Luxury in Jamaica

Friday, January 23rd, 2009

Round Hill, which is located in the Montego Bay area of Jamaica, is one of my favorite Caribbean boutique hotels. The luxurious hotel rooms, which were recently renovated and designed by Ralph Lauren, are all located in The Pineapple House in a central spot within the resort grounds. All 36 of them are oceanfront and decorated in a quintessential Caribbean style. Additionally, there are 27 privately owned villas dotting the hillside.

I recently visited the property and found the resort to be one of the most elegant spots I’d seen in all of the Caribbean. Past guests include a “who’s who” list of celebrities, politicians, entertainers and more. It’s not uncommon to dine beside someone famous, so be on the lookout while you’re there! Ralph Lauren himself owns two private homes on the grounds, as he spends a large amount of time at Round Hill each year.
Looking for a tranquil and sumptuous spa while on vacation? Round Hill’s spa is the the ideal spot to pamper oneself. Guests on route to the spa enjoy a beautiful walk along a secluded path flanked by tropical foliage, only to arrive at a peaceful haven at the top of the hill. The spa treatment menu is extensive and will meet the most discerning spa lover’s needs.

Dining is a special experience at Round Hill. Guests enjoy gourmet meals daily on a romantic waterfront terrace. The atmosphere certainly made me want to linger over a glass of wine for as long as possible. Want to bring the children along? Round Hill caters to families of all ages and offers a robust children’s program for little ones between the ages of 3-12. The entry enrollment age of three is actually quite unusual and a big bonus for parents of very little ones. Most children’s clubs require children to be five years of age before they can participate, so Round Hill provides a nice perk for very young families. Arts, crafts, water sports, etc. are available on a daily basis, and the children I saw on property seemed to be having quite a good time!

For a limited time, Round Hill is offering an excellent deal for Virtuoso clients. I must also add that it’s highly unusual for a property with such an accomplished track record to offer any deals in high season. For travel now until February 12th and again between February 25th-March 5th, guests staying 4 nights pay for 3, 7 nights pay for 5, and 14 nights pay for 10. Additionally, I’m able to secure a $100 food and beverage credit per room. Contact me for more details and availability information.

A Hidden Gem: The Jamaica Inn

Saturday, January 10th, 2009

One of my favorite Caribbean boutique hotels is the five-star Jamaica Inn, which is tucked away on a stunning beachfront spot in Ocho Rios. The hotel has been around since 1950 and maintains an old world, Caribbean charm difficult to find in the region today. Known for outstanding service, ambience and dining, the Jamaica Inn has an incredibly high number of repeat visitors. And the hotel has received many accolades to prove it, including a #1 ranking for all hotels in Jamaica and #7 in the entire Caribbean awarded by Conde Nast readers in 2008.

The Jamaica Inn offers a high level of luxury at a price point much lower than many of its competitors. And as a Virtuoso advisor, I’m able to secure a number of perks for my clients, including a room upgrade at the time of arrival (subject to availability), complimentary continental breakfast daily, and a complimentary bottle of fine Jamaican rum.

The hotel consists of 47 suites, all with water views. Each suite has either a private balcony or large verandah, which are fully furnished with comfortable furniture for relaxing and taking in the views. The suites have a breezy and open feel to them, and they’re decorated in a beautiful, Caribbean plantation style. The Jamaica Inn believes its guests deserve an opportunity to truly escape from the real world, so televisions, radios and clocks are blissfully absent from every suite on property.

For spa lovers, the Jamaica Inn offers its full-service KiYara Ocean Spa. Located directly on the water, the spa celebrates Jamaican nature in all of its treatments. Local plants, both those gathered in the wild and those provided by Jamaican farmers, are plentifully used. One tip: it’s a good idea to book your spa treatments before arrival to ensure you get what you want at the desired times.

Honeymoon? Anniversary? Or just a romantic getaway? A perfect spot for lovers of all ages…The Jamaica Inn.

Why Rent a Villa in the Caribbean?

Friday, December 19th, 2008

In search of that perfect home away from home when traveling to the Caribbean? Then renting a villa might be the best choice for you. With an abundance of homes available for rent on many different islands, there’s a property out there to fit any family or group. Having access to a fully stocked kitchen, enjoying larger living spaces and splashing around in your own private pool are just a few of the benefits of choosing to stay in a villa. Many homes also come fully staffed with cooks, butlers, and babysitters if you’re looking for the ultimate pampered experience.

The key to selecting the perfect Caribbean villa for your vacation is determining how much space you need to comfortably accommodate your group, as well as choosing the right island and location on that island based on your personal preferences. A trusted travel advisor is the best person to help you sort through these issues and find a reputable rental company. While the internet is full of “book on your own” options, there’s no way to know who is legitimate and who isn’t. My firm has access to an elite group of excellent villa companies who will deliver a product that is worth the price.

The islands of the Caribbean are much more diverse than many people realize. Some of them such as Anguilla and Eleuthera are relatively flat with stunning white sand beaches. On islands like these, most villas are located directly on the beach. Jamaica, Grenada and St. Barts are examples of lush and mountainous islands where one can find villas both on the beach and in the hills with spectacular ocean views.

Contact me for assistance with locating the best island and villa for your next tropical getaway.
