Belmond Cap Juluca, Anguilla

Stunning, breathtaking, otherworldly: these are just a few words that come to mind when I describe Belmond Cap Juluca to my clients. One of the Caribbean’s most beloved and iconic hotels, this legendary property reopened its doors last winter after a change in ownership and major recovery effort from 2017’s devastating hurricane season. I recently visited to  see the enhancements firsthand.

Baha Mar, The Bahamas

I snuck away to the Bahamas with some colleagues this winter to check out Baha Mar, a new and exciting resort development that recently opened on Nassau. Comprised of three hotels, 40 bars and restaurants, a huge ESPA Spa, a comprehensive kids club program, and the largest casino in the Caribbean, this mind-boggling complex is best described as the tropics meet Vegas!

Four Seasons Nevis

My latest summer travels took me to the charming Caribbean island of Nevis.  The main purpose of my visit was to stay at the Four Seasons Nevis and learn more about their exciting renovations, which are already well underway.  I’m a big fan of the property so had been closely monitoring news of their upcoming enhancements and couldn’t wait to get a sneak peek at what’s in store for my clients beginning this December.

Park Hyatt St. Kitts

I’m writing this blog pool-side at the Park Hyatt St. Kitts, taking in the views of Nevis in the distance.  Heaven!  The Park Hyatt St. Kitts is one of the newest luxury properties to open in the Caribbean and Park Hyatt’s first resort hotel in the Caribbean.  They opened their doors in time for festive business last November and have quickly put themselves on the map as an exciting, new 5 star option for the Caribbean luxury traveler.

Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman

My latest travels took me to the Caribbean island of Grand Cayman – a gem of a tropical destination best known for famous Seven Mile Beach, warm and friendly locals, and a fantastic dining and shopping scene. While I was there, I spent some time as a guest at the Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman, which lived up to every expectation I had about the property.

Kimpton Seafire, Grand Cayman

I recently visited Kimpton Seafire on the Caribbean island of Grand Cayman, Kimpton Hotels’ first resort property to open in the world. I’ve sent quite a few happy clients since they opened their doors in November so was anxious to check it out myself and get a better understanding of the Kimpton brand as a whole.

Caneel Bay, St. John

I recently returned from a magical stay at one of the Caribbean’s most beloved and iconic hotels – Caneel Bay on the island of St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands. This was my third visit to the property and a particularly special trip for me both personally and professionally, as I’d been invited to attend their 60th Anniversary Gala as a representative of the luxury travel industry. I was honored and excited to attend.

Malliouhana, an Auberge Resort, Anguilla

I just returned home from a blissful week on the magical island Anguilla, one of my favorite destinations in the Caribbean.  The main purpose of my visit was to stay at Malliouhana and experience it first-hand, as I’ve been regularly sending happy clients since it reopened in 2014 and wanted to see for myself just how special this iconic property really is.

Jade Mountain, St. Lucia

Where do I even begin? Jade Mountain, one of the most exclusive and spectacular properties in the Caribbean, is so special that it’s a bit difficult to describe the experience of staying here in a blog post.  Jaw-dropping, breath-taking, and surreal are some of the first words that come to mind.  And they don’t even begin to tell the whole story.
